  Visual C++ 2008 Express is an integrated development environment (IDE) created by Microsoft for those people that want to program in this language and don't own the rather expensive Visual Studio 2008.

  Due to its features, Visual C++ 2008 Express is ideal for students and beginner programmers, but this doesn't mean that it can't produce applications with the same professional standards that its big brother does.

  It comes accompanied by a tutorial and a thorough help center that will try to help us and solve any doubts we might have in the complex world of the C++ language.

  It can be used to create native applications and also to compile .NET and Win32 applications, even though we do have to take into account that this doesn't include 64 bit applications.
